Musing Mondays is a meme hosted by Jenn at A Daily Rhythm
Good morning! I hope everyone had a wonderful weekend! Mine was productive and I hardly yelled at my kids. 🙂
For today’s Musing Mondays, I am going to tackle a few of the topics. First, I am currently reading:
Two decades have passed since an inferno swept through Elmbridge High, claiming the lives of three teenagers and causing one student, Carly Johnson, to disappear. The main suspect: Kaitlyn, “the girl of nowhere.”
Kaitlyn’s diary, discovered in the ruins of Elmbridge High, reveals the thoughts of a disturbed mind. Its charred pages tell a sinister version of events that took place that tragic night, and the girl of nowhere is caught in the center of it all. But many claim Kaitlyn doesn’t exist, and in a way, she doesn’t – because she is the alter ego of Carly Johnson.
Carly gets the day. Kaitlyn has the night. It’s during the night that a mystery surrounding the Dead House unravels and a dark, twisted magic ruins the lives of each student that dares touch it.
I bought the following books in the past week…
I went a little crazy. Especially since Christmas is coming and I am hoping to get a lot of books. One exception is The Widow. I received this an Advance Reader Copy so that makes it better….right?
And finally, This Week’s Random Question…if you were forced to choose the best season for reading (in your own opinion), what would it be? Why?
Immediately I wanted to say Winter but then I thought about how many books I actually read this summer and I guess it is Summer! I enjoy reading in Winter a lot though. Sitting by the fire, snuggling under a blanket, cup of tea….Can I just choose both? I choose both!
Have a great week!
